Jane's has been part of Saskatoon since 1980, and the community work is not a marketing line.

We supplied the fall arrangements Elmwood auctioned for its residents, and every dollar of that auction went back to Elmwood. We build $25 arrangements for Cosmo Industries, a recycling organization staffed by people with special needs. Recreation staff at seniors' homes collect the empty vases and baskets from residents' flowers and return them to us; we turn them into a Christmas arrangement and send it back as thanks. When a thrift store had forty volunteers to recognise, we sent forty carnations, one each.

Lyle's rule on donations: if you are running a fundraiser, add a dollar to the ticket price and you have a decorating budget &mdash and he will work with you on it.
